After testing in Canada, the domino-inspired logic game Pips NYT was released by the New York Times Games on August 18, 2025.
In addition to Sudoku, NYT's first unique logic problem adds a new gaming element where players must use numbers (also known as "pips" or dots on dominoes) to fulfill conditions in each board area.
